THSC Promotes Homeschooling in Texas

THSC identifies and endorses the local and state officials who are protecting your rights as parents and home educators. During the election cycles, THSC uses local committees and a questionnaire to vet and select candidates to endorse who will defend parental rights at every level. THSC also sheds a light on particularly bad judges through our Texas Judicial Wall of Shame.

As a voice for home schoolers in Texas, we seek to help our elected officials, the media, government workers and our communities at large understand and appreciate home education. We welcome the opportunity to present “Home Schooling and the Law” to groups around the state. And each year, we offer free Continuing Legal Education on various topics related to home schooling and parental rights to Texas attorneys.

An unforgettable event, the annual THSC Gala is a Lone Star-studded evening to celebrate the continued work of the Texas Home School Coalition in preserving and protecting the rights of families.
