What is Budget University? Budget University is an online middle school, high school, and community center. We offer core courses that are geared toward a full financial literacy curriculum. This program will prepare people of all ages for their financial well-being. Courses are offered through core courses such as history, science, English, and math, and also essential pillars that will help create generational wealth with an emphasis on economic development to teach financial literacy through an LMS. It will play an effective, challenging role in education that is going to benefit a diverse range of individuals to gain a promising future. Therefore, this curriculum is aimed at developing the relationship between financial literacy, economic development, social equity, and personal wealth building. This will increase the individual’s wealth and standard of living with an emphasis on basic banking, 401k, investing, real estate, life insurance, credit, and student loans.
When will the project happen? It is on an enrollment basis that can happen at any time. Budget University began in February 2021 during COVID-19 when the economic crisis hit, and people needed to become more educated on finances. The course ends after a 9-month cycle period. The milestones within this program are full employment, price stability, economic growth, redistribution of income, and stability of balance of payments.
Who is leading our team? Budget University is covered by the ACWSC accreditation agency that holds our curriculum accountable. They are a secondary and college accreditation agency. We have solid teachers that are college graduates with college degrees. We have financial advisors that keep our economic development portion up to date.
Where does Budget University take place? It takes place online with our LMS (Learning Management System); we have an online school that is also synced to our app that is free for download on the Apple and Google Play Store with full access to assignments, discussion boards, typing tests, and calculators.
