Keeping Texas Families Free Awards

Each year, the Texas Homeschool Coalition honors state leaders for their achievements in the work of Keeping Texas Families Free.  This year, we are privileged to honor a man that has incredibly impacted family rights in the state of Texas.

Defender of Freedom Award: Senator Bob Hall

When the Pardo family faced CPS in a now nationally-publicized case centered around family rights and due process, Sen. Bob Hall was personally present each day in court to defend the family and protect their rights as parents.

This ultimately led to the case against the Pardo family being overturned and the safe return of their child to his home.
