We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Events Intern to join our dynamic team. As an Events Intern, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of our events, with a focus on the behind-the-scenes and administrative work that it takes to run multiple events.

What you bring to the team:
- You have a passion for events planning, organization, and management
- You possess great people skills, both in-person and through online communication
- You have the ability to pay close attention to detail, especially in exhibit hall preparation and administration tasks
- You enjoy working in a team environment
- You are an expert at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines
- You have the ability to adapt to changing situations and take on new challenges with a proactive approach
What you’ll do:
- Assist in preparation and organization of the exhibit hall for events
- Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, exhibitors, and participants
- Maintain and organize the Events Google Drive, ensuring files, documents and resources are properly categorized and easily accessible to team members
- Participate in event planning meetings and take detailed notes on discussions, action items, and decisions made
- Prepare comprehensive meeting minutes and distribute them to the team in a clear and concise meeting recap email.
It’ll be Awesome if:
- You are proficient with computer programs, Office, Asana, etc.
- You are familiar with the homeschooling community
- Some travel may be required

Technology Development Internship

We understand how challenging it can be to jump into a tech stack and see the structure of an organization from the back end. Our team is excited to help you along the way to work together to grow your skills and service this great organization. This internship will help to stabilize the structure of THSC ultimately benefiting homeschool families across Texas.

- An excellent communicator with a heart for making technology accessible to non tech minded individuals

What you’ll do:
- Train chatbots for our various sites built on ChatGPT
- Correct Payment Processor anomalies and misalignments
- Evaluate and Vet current and new platforms for sustainability, scalability, and usability
- Deliver front end website updates like text edits, blog post build outs, and ad updates
- Clean up current platforms, repairing broken web links, and resolving duplicate data points
- Run reports servicing departments across the organization
It’ll be Awesome if:
- You are proficient with computer programs, Google Workspace, Asana, etc.
- You have some experience with wordpress and page builders
- You enjoy research and fact finding oriented projects
