THSC Watchmen Team Applications are Open!

Every legislative session, THSC recruits a team of homeschool graduates who serve as legislative analysts and lobbyists for Texas’ homeschool families. This team, known as the THSC Watchmen, works tirelessly to protect the rights of homeschool families.

The THSC Watchmen program allows homeschool graduates to gain real-life experience and develop critical thinking skills while preserving the freedoms of Texas families to educate their children the way they see fit.

Applications for the 2023 THSC Watchmen are Open!

In addition to protecting the rights of homeschooling families, serving on the THSC Watchmen team allows homeschool graduates to:

  • Develop critical thinking skills
  • Practice professional writing
  • Gain invaluable career expertise
  • Learn to organize and strategize
  • Apply their skills to real-life situations
  • Gain resume-boosting experience

Serving on the THSC Watchmen team is also a wonderful opportunity to serve during a gap-year. It can help students better plan their future plans if they are interested in politics or law as careers.
