Texas Homeschool Community Calendar
The THSC Event Calendar is a free service to homeschoolers in Texas. We hope you like it. It is designed to help homeschooling families, friends, and support groups take advantage of educational opportunities of interest to you.
For event sponsors: Your event venue must be in Texas and have a specific appeal to homeschoolers. All submissions are moderated by THSC. If you don’t see your event posted three business days after submission, please contact the Moderator at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your submissions and interest in supporting Texas home schoolers.
Click on the “Events in” button to select a particular month to view. Click the “View as” button to view events by month or as a list.
Note: Please do not list events that run for extended periods. Events running for more than 3 – 5 days (depending on event), will be edited or will not be published. If you would like to promote a long-running event, such as a class or a camp, please list the opening and closing dates for registration or enrollment separately. The recommendation for actual class dates is that they should be listed in the event description, not in the date field.
World Oceans Day
June 6 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
World Oceans Day is the United Nations recognized day of ocean celebration and action, and every year people all across the globe host events, cleanups, and more.
The Artist Boat’s World Oceans Day Festival brings this celebration to the Texas Gulf Coast for a fun and educational good time!
Learn about preserving our natural resources in a fun, inspiring way. Protect our seas and the Texas Coast by joining us at Stewart Beach for a family-friendly, hands-on, educational day of exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment, and opportunities to practice “Innovations for a Sustainable Ocean”.
Enter our Marine Debris Art Contest by compiling a unique entry for World Ocean’s Day (See complete details on the website) Art Pieces are usually made of recycled materials or items that might be found on the beach as “marine debris”.
The Beach festival is free but Stewart Beach Parking Fee $15 applies.
