THSC Rangers Help Home School Students Make an Impact

The most effective learning environment is experience-based studying. One of the requirements for home schooling in Texas is teaching good citizenship which is best done through on-the-job training, but many parents just don’t know how to do this. THSC provides support for this crucial qualification through the THSC Ranger program allowing students to get behind the scenes of Texas politics.

The THSC Ranger program began out of a love for Texas, educating students in foundational principles of government, and the sincere desire to Keep Texas Families Free. Students in the THSC Ranger program offer a significant voice in Texas government by engaging with local and statewide officials. The program is based on the well-developed Lone Star Study.

The unique learning concept and hands-on involvement teaches students about the political process and trains them to understand public policy and how profoundly local politics affect their lives. Students in the program gain experience and leadership skills that can’t be taught in a classroom.

AND–your student will be prepared to actually make a difference in the future of Texas politics. This year, it is our goal to organize THSC Ranger clubs throughout the state. If you would be interested in organizing one in your area, THSC would love to hear from you! We offer materials and support and would enjoy helping you establish your club.
