Encouragement by Chocolate
Moms who go to Encouragement by Chocolate will enjoy a delicious time of chocolate, coffee, and sweet fellowship and, of course, encouragement with keynote speaker, Carol Barnier! Her topic of the evening will be “Aren’t You Just Precious?. . .and Other Veiled Insults”. This mom’s event will take place Friday, August 2, from 7:30 – 9 p.m. on site at the Waterway Marriott Hotel. Thursday Field Trip – SOLD OUT
THSC has designed a special Convention field trip sure to be fun for the entire family! Join us 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Thursday, August 1, as we tour Moody Gardens on Galveston! We will tour the towering blue Aquarium Pyramid, which contains more than one million gallons of water, and view sharks, sea turtles, eels, and thousands of beautiful tropical fish. We will then move on to the Rainforest Pyramid and walk through the rainforests of the world in the 10-story glass pyramid, which includes a treetop path that leads you through the canopy level to see the monkeys, sloths, and other free-roaming tree dwellers up close and personal.
