THSC members receive legal assistance for issues related to home education, and we often intervene on behalf of our members to help educate state and local officials of the law regarding home education in Texas.

To date, THSC has successfully defended over 100 homeschool families in Child Protective Services (CPS) cases. In 2021 alone, THSC received and responded to over 150 CPS-related calls from members.
